Our four week sessions of Horsemanship lessons will give participants the opportunity to:
Learn safety on the ground around a horse
Learn how to properly groom and saddle
Learn basic riding kills or improve prior skills

All lessons are taught by certified CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) or CCHI (Christian Camp Horsemanship International) instructors. CCHI uses CHA's four levels of curriculum adding a Christian emphasis to them.

Each session is approximately 2 hours long, which is 6 hours of actual riding time.

The first week, participants will start with safety rules and basic care of a horse, such as grooming, saddling etc. Participants will then head to the arena to begin skills on horseback.

The following weeks, upon arrival, participants will groom and saddle, gather for a brief Bible study, then mount up and start riding.

The last week, participants will go on a trail ride where family members can join, if they wish (at an additional cost).
