Horseback Riding | Faith Ranch

Trail Riding

Do you want to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Faith Ranch on horseback? We offer public trail riding throughout the year. **Reservations are required!

Here are some things you need to know:

Riders must be at least 9 years old to go on trail
We currently have a weight limit of 240 lbs for the safety of both rider and horse. (Our scale will be set to 240 lbs and we will ask ALL riders to step on - we will not know your exact weight, we just need to confirm you are at or under our weight limit)
All Riders must have closed toed shoes (boots or tennis shoes) and for your comfort, we recommend long pants or capris
All Riders are required to fill out a riding waiver prior to their trail ride (parent or guardian must sign for children under 18)
You must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your trail time. (If you are not checked in by your reserved trail time, you will have to reschedule)
We encourage all riders to wear a helmet; however riders under 18 are required to wear them (helmets are available at no extra cost)
Please Note: we are unable to offer trail rides in inclement weather or if the heat index is too high, as it can cause serious health risks for our horses and can be unsafe for the riders. Trail availability will be at the discretion of Faith Ranch Staff.

Pony Rides

Pony rides are a great option for children under 9 or those who may not be comfortable enough for a trail ride. **Reservations are required!

Horsemanship Lessons

We offer 30 or 60 minute horsemanship lessons throughout the year. These lessons are available for anyone 9 years of age or older. All of our students learn safety, horse care, grooming and saddling. Students will also learn ground skills and riding techniques.

We also hold a Horsemanship Lesson series in the spring and fall. These 4 week sessions along with any other specialty rides will be posted on our events page as they are available. You can contact us for more information!
